Some say that the Palin family has become the Spears family of Alaska. Sen. John McCain’s vice presidential pick, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, has been under intense media scrutiny. The relatively unknown politician and mother of five has drawn both praise and criticism following the revelation of her teenage daughter’s pregnancy out of the wedlock i.e. Bristol Palin. Bristol is scheduled to marry the 18-year-old hockey playing father, Levi Johnston.
